- Abstract
In a state of disorder: An inorganic supramolecular complex, (Hg6P4)(CuCl3)2, was prepared that undergoes a ferroelectric transition at about 37 K, and its spontaneous polarization was determined to be about 114 μC m−2 in the polycrystalline form using the high ‐ precision pyroelectric current method. Weak electrostatic supramolecular interactions in 1 lead to the dynamic disorder of ions and ferroelectric transition.
