- Abstract
An editorial is presented which discusses the concept of libido dominandi, which refers to the lust for domination and its role in driving political passions and causing wars. It explores the theological framework of libido dominandi in understanding political passions, the distorted state of divine love it reflects, and its imitation of God's authority. It also examines the Neo-Confucian perspective on relational love and its potential for addressing political passions.
