- Abstract
Even though it is well known about the harmful effects of suction disk use in complete dentures, they are still popular in rural and semi-urban areas of India as a cheap means to achieve retention in maxillary dentures. In this case report we present a patient with oro-nasal opening and epithelial indentation due to prolonged use of a denture with suction disk for over 10 years and his rehabilitation using a combined surgical and prosthodontic approach.
