- Abstract
Introduction: Since Industrial Revolution, diseases have increased, creating disabilities and legal skills. Objectives: This study aimed to create a protocol for analyzes of functional capacity for legal expertise, analyzing its reliability and replicability. Methods: This was a controlled, randomized and experimental study, based on International Classification of Functioning, Baremo Classification, documentary evidence and functional analysis. A sample of ten skills was randomly selected and analyzed in two groups: control and study. Each skill had 22 evaluators, the control by conventional way, and the study by the protocols. Results: Significant difference between groups was observed (p<0,0001), the control had high variability (CVQ=33%), compared to the study group (CVQ=6%). In one hand, the Kendall W test presented high concordance between the evaluators (91,7%) so it can be said reliable. In the other hand, Kendall Tau test showed almost perfect repeatability. Conclusion: This study showed that this protocol is more reliable to evaluate functional capacity for legal expertise.
