- Abstract
In order to make full use of combing noil from wool spinning waste and develop the yarn of combing noil, the rotor yarn of combing noil was produced by rotor spinning machine RFRS30. After many spinning experiments, the spinning process parameters were determined as follows:yarn drawing speed was 54 m/min, yarn feeding speed was 123 cm/min, rotor speed was 44 500 r/min, opening roller speed was 5 000 r/min and drafting multiple was 43.90. To improve the quality of the rotor yarn combing noil, the rotor spinning elements were optimized. The optimum spinning elements were selected by multi-objective fuzzy decision-making and clustering analysis method. The optimum spinning elements were: OK40 opening roller and 4-slot navel.
