- Abstract
The article focuses on a study related to the use of intravenous artesunate on patients infected with artesunate. Topics include improved survival of patients having severe malaria as compared to quinine particularly in hyperparasitemic patients, a formulation of artesunate meeting standards of Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) not available, performance of a survival analysis on the patients, and episodes of delayed hemolysis observed in the patients treated with artesunate.
