Lawyers and judges understand and, hopefully, respect the rule of law. In short, the rule of law has become the rule of lie--the Big Lie and the lies about Montana's courts and judges. Indeed, without a fair, independent and impartial judiciary, the rule of law falls apart--because without that sort of judiciary, there is no institution to enforce the rule of law.
