- Abstract
The article offers suggestions for early education teachers to assist them in building partnerships with students' families at the beginning of the school year. Suggestions include collecting feedback from families regarding how they would like to involve themselves, invite parents on field trips, and place importance on communicating students' strengths to aid in discussing challenges that may arise later in the year.
