- Abstract
For digital printing, the effect of fabric printing can only be evaluated based on the color and pattern of the printed fabric after the printing is completed, and the influence of the physical properties of the fabric itself on the printing effect is not clear before printing. This subject takes nine kinds of cotton fabrics as the research object, screens nine physical indexes that affect the suitability of cotton printing (yarn count, warp density, weft density, thickness, yarn twist, whiteness, wicking height, gloss and surface roughness). The principal component analysis method is used to construct a cotton fabric printing suitability evaluation model. By analyzing the color rendering data of cotton fabrics after printing, the model prediction results are verified. The results show that: the printing suitability evaluation model has applicability and can be used to quickly evaluate the printing suitability of cotton fabrics; increasing the whiteness of the cotton fabrics and reducing its surface roughness can improve the color reproducibilhy of printed fabrics; improving the gloss and whiteness of the fabric is conducive to the improvement of the brightness of the printing; the thickness and wicking height of the fabrics have a greater impact on the permeability of the printing.
