- Abstract
The article discusses the spread of infectious diseases among Syrian civilians, refugees, and citizens of neighboring countries in the wake of Syrian civil war in 2014. Topics discussed include the health care system in Syria before the conflict, the risk factors for infectious diseases such as poliomyelitis, measles, and leishmaniasis, and other diseases that affect the mentioned populations including typhoid fever, hepatitis A, and meningitis.
