- Abstract
The article reports on the move of Australian Prime Minister Kevin Rudd to withdraw his support on plans to introduce a carbon trading strategy. According to Climate Institute Australia deputy chief executive officer (CEO) Erwin Jackson, the country's carbon emission will rise without the carbon trading. Jackson adds that the country is the first major economy to withdraw from its commitment in the Copenhagen, Denmark climate change summit.
