- Abstract
The article discusses the strategy by the American Board of Family Medicine (ABFM) to support and promote physician Diplomate learning. The aim is to maximize the learning value of Diplmate certification to ensure that physicians can provide safe and high quality patient centered care. Also cited are the key components of the strategy like improving longitudinal assessment and connecting learning across the elements of continuing certification.
