Abstract
The article discusses inheritance and property rights of women in Yemenite Jewish society in Palestine. The author presents several cases in which women resisted attempts to disinherit or otherwise economically suppress them; these cases were the result of the cultural attitudes retained by the Yemeni immigrants in Palestine.
