- Title
Holocaust Iconography in American feature films About Neo-Nazis.
- Authors
Baron, Lawrence
- Abstract
This article focuses on post-war U.S. feature films about Neo-Nazism with special reference to how such films reflect Holocaust concerns. It discusses many films from different production sources, including the forgotten films of the 1960's and 1970's that exploited the infamy of the Third Reich as grist for B horror and science fiction movies. It cites the films "They Saved Hitler's Brain" and "American History X." The article argues that the films document the connection between Nazi ideology and the racism of U.S. neo-Nazi and white supremacist groups to delegitimate the latter.
