The article discusses the impact of quantitative tightening and inflation targeting in Peru. Topics include an overview of how the Central Bank of Peru adopted inflation targeting in 2002 in order to deal with macroeconomic challenges from financial dollarization, the relevance of reserve requirements for a monetary policy, and an overview of the monetary framework of Peru. Also mentioned are the Lehman Brothers and Operation Twist in the U.S.
