- Abstract
The article presents a study regarding the sub-lethal malathion toxicity on the activity of gut enzymes in three tropical grassland earthworms. The study uses malathion as well as maintained the adult worms of the three species in the laboratory pot culture. The study has found that the urease activity is greater in worms exposed to malathion and the worms produced higher amount of mucus as well as other excretory materials.
