- Abstract
The article presents the discussion on examining the links between adaptive imagination and mental imagery. Topics include processes contributing to adaptive imagination from both evolutionary and neurocognitive perspectives; and emerging simultaneously in different continents and cultures after the ice age due to improved weather conditions paving the way for physical and social changes in unexpected directions.
