- Abstract
It is a positive attempt to improve the quality of a primary and secondary school that a university professor serves as the principal. In 2015, the author was appointed as the principal of a weak middle school in Beijing. In order to empower the development of the school, the idea that students' interests are the fundamental interests of the school has been established, and the reconstruction of the school culture has been actively promoted, so that everyone can have a positive and good influence on the development of the school. We try to introduce university spirit and educational resources into the school, and promote teachers' independent exploration of classroom teaching reform. In practice, we actively promote contingency leadership and management, focusing on improving their decision making ability and the ability to ensure implementation, so that teachers can feel the self-development and school changes. We comprehensively promote the management of school organizational morale, so that teachers can feel the changes in themselves and the development of the school. The improvement of weak schools will face many negative and uncertain factors, and the unfavorable control of any factor may result in the failure of previous efforts, and even lead to the premature reform.
