- Authors
Cliteur, Paul
- Abstract
The article provides an overview on the religious neutrality in public education. It informs on a controversy in which Ms. Solie Lautsi lodged a complaint against the Italian Republic on behalf of her two children, who found a crucifix on the wall of the school on the bases on freedom of belief and religion under European Convention on Human Rights. She also alleged that the display of the crucifix was incompatible with the principle of secularism.
