- Abstract
The article focuses on problems that might be faced by commercial finance companies and banks offering secured commercial financing in case of the borrower's bankruptcy. It stresses banks and finance companies to be cautious of the possible bankruptcy of the borrower at the time of offering a loan and discusses various creditor conflicts and procedural problems in bankruptcy proceedings. It informs about various alternatives available in the U.S. for continuing the operation of the debtor's business during bankruptcy proceedings.
