- Abstract
The article presents a case study of the effect of exchange-rate intervention in Brazil and Czech Republic with the intercession of central bank in year 1998-1999. The central bank has a reserved right to intervene the monetary system in a country to settle disorderly market and when the exchange-rate regulation has out of the fundamental. The article discusses the reaction of the model countries upon the interference of central bank and adoption of the inflation in the target year.
