- Authors
DeVylder, Jordan
- Abstract
The article discusses the psychotherapeutic approaches for depression and suicide whose efficacy may be boosted through greater research and clinical attention to the several interventions that exert a more rapid effect on depressive symptoms and suicidal thoughts. It cites sleep deprivation as the most well-established treatments with a substantial body of evidence showing remission of depressive symptoms after total or partial sleep deprivation.
