- Title
"Oh, it is you, is it?": Closing the Door on Reasonable Resistance to Unlawful Police Entry in Indiana.
- Authors
DRUM, JESSE
- Abstract
The article focuses on the Indiana Supreme Court's prohibition on an effective restriction of unlawful police home entry by the introduction of castle doctrine's amendment to the Fourth Amendment of the U.S. constitution. It analyzes that this doctrine was not an effective solution as it does not remedy the court's limitation of reasonable resistance. It depicts common law as an effective measure for reasonable resistance, by analyzing the Indiana Supreme Court case Barnes v. State.
