- Abstract
The article presents results of an experimental study which examines the retinopathic features of cotton wool spots (CWSs), a polymorphous pale lesions of the inner retina and its risks for developing systemic and retinal disease. The experimental study explores the use of a fundus fluorescein angiography (FFA) to determined the retinal capillary permeability of the inner retina. It also outlines the pathophysiology of exudative CWS.
