- Abstract
The article focuses on the comparative analysis of practices and policy in early education and care (EEC) on children in the U.S. and Australia. It compared the EEC experiences of young children considering the promotion of cognitive skills development and the extent of EEC during infancy and preschool years. It suggests that Australian parents are more educated, higher incomes, and slightly older as compared to the parents of children in the U.S.
