- Title
Roles Central to Directors' Pay.
- Abstract
This article reports on trends related to director's pay. The author notes that while the demand and risk associated with serving as a director are rising, their pay is not. The article reports that pay is becoming increasingly linked to the specific roles that directors play and not simply the size of the company they work for. The author reports on findings derived from proxy statements that indicated that a majority of corporations are changing the pay structure of audit committee personnel, that there has been an increase in committee retainers and many companies are increasing committee fees.
