Title
Languages consultation launched in Scotland.
Abstract
The article reports a public consultation to be launched by the Scottish National Party (SNP) administration in Scotland which seeks views on how to raise the profile of Scots, a new strategic approach to Gaelic medium education (GME) and the creation of a Gàidhealtachd, areas with a higher percentage of Gaelic speakers. It further says Gaelic and Scots are a significant part of Scotland's culture and it should be ensured that they thrive and grow.
