- Abstract
The COVID-19 pandemic shifted the usual way in which teaching, learning, and research were done in universities, suddenly integrating digitalization, decisions having to be made quickly, and adaptation becoming an ongoing process. The purpose of our study was to determine the perception of students from two Romanian universities (a public and a private one) about online learning during the COVID-19 pandemic period. To meet our goals, we used two surveys conducted in the virtual environment. The results of this paper show that students received well digital technologies integration into the learning experience during this period from both universities and online education create particular well-being for students, who benefit from the more efficient organization of activity and resources in the virtual learning environment. Furthermore, our findings indicate that online learning environments implemented during the COVID-19 pandemic should be replicated on a larger scale for full-time learning programs in a hybrid dimension.
