The article offers information on the efforts for improving paediatric medications for Canadian children and youth. It discusses the policies governing the development, approval and reimbursement of medicines for adult populations; discussions on the need for process redesign for regulatory and reimbursement systems; and the information on the need to expand commercial access for child-friendly formulations.
