- Abstract
The complexity and dynamics of cross-border crime have printed a rapidly developing and diversifying the means and methods of international cooperation to combat the phenomenon. Thus, each state is now seeking to redefine its mission and objectives in this area and their projections into the Euro-Atlantic area of cooperation. Europe is currently undergoing a complex process of transformation in all areas, including the fight against organized crime, which must determine the risks they face and the type of response to be posed. In this context, the emphasis is on programs directed to all Member States to improve security and on the identification through cooperation and dialogue, of the most effective tools in this area.
