- Abstract
The article presents case studies of using a successful multidisciplinary approach to treat severe chronic hypergranulating facial wounds and scarring in two siblings with junctional epidermolysis bullosa (JEB) generalized-intermediate due to a LAMB3 splice site mutation. Other information about treatment of JEB, which is a hereditary blistering disease caused by reduced dermal–epidermal adhesion due to deficiencies in laminin 332, collagen, and integrin, is presented.
