- Abstract
The article discusses the history of the Major League Baseball Players Association (MLBPA) as of 2014, focusing on an analysis of the alleged motivation behind former MLBPA Executive Director Donald Fehr's decision to resign from the MLBPA in 2009 and become the Executive Director of the National Hockey League Players Association (NHLPA). According to the article, Fehr's tenure at the MLBPA was filled with conflict and various labor-related issues. Collective bargaining agreements are examined.
