- Abstract
The article presents the results of a study on employer attractiveness and the image of public administration from the perspective of students and HR experts. The study shows that security is a dominant characteristic of employer attractiveness and that a good working atmosphere and varied tasks contribute to a positive assessment of public administration. However, students have concerns regarding a perceived image conflict of public administration. Recommendations for HR marketing are discussed to highlight the desired characteristics of applicants. The results have practical relevance for HR marketing in public administration and suggest that certain characteristics should be emphasized to attract potential applicants.
