- Abstract
The article discusses a study on nine selected genotypes of okra to determine the role of physio-morphic plant characters with the population of jassid. In this study, the physio-morphic plant characters of okra were correlated with the population of the pest and their impact was determined by processing the data into multiple linear regression analysis. Results show that the hair-length on midrib of middle leaves, hair- length on the vein of middle leaves, plant-height and number of primary branches showed a negative and significant correlation with the pest population.
