- Authors
Kramer, William M.
- Abstract
The article focuses on the important events in the life of scientist Albert Einstein during his visit to California in 1933. When asked about his reaction to the regime of Adolf Hitler in Germany in his final press conference in Pasadena on March 10, 1933, he said that he will not go to Germany. A "Los Angeles Times" writer recalled Einstein's three visits to Pasadena, noting some of his positive characters like being passionate and almost religious. Also noted is that Germany wanted no part of Einstein or his ideas because he was a Jew.
