- Abstract
The article presents a two case study related to 78-year-old female presented with symptoms of infection and complaints of mucositis, and 77-years-old when she presented with symptoms of progression of her previously diagnosed acute myeloid leukemia. Topics include the Platelet (PLT) counting in patients with thrombocytopenia continues to represent a major challenge in laboratory hematology, and the sophisticated technology used in modern hematology analyzers.
