- Abstract
Formation mechanism of geometrical errors because of temperature gradient of graphics elements formatted with IR laser radiation in thermal sensitive digital printing plate is given. By method of temperature gradient dispersion the marginal values of geometrical errors of discreet element exposed with IR laser were determined. Mathematical analysis of exposed discreet element errors is given, related with thickness of thermal sensitive coating, its physical and laser irradiance characteristics. Analytical and experimental results are given that confirm that errors of exposed discreet element depend on thickness of thermal sensitive coating, its material temperature conductivity and characteristics of IR laser beam.
