- Title
RTK/RAS Can't Do it Alone in Causing Bladder Cancer.
- Authors
Xue-Ru Wu
- Abstract
The article focuses on the role of receptor tyrosine kinase (RTK)/RAS on the low-grade nonmuscle invasive bladder cancer (LG-NMIBC) detected in gene mutation. Topics include the evaluation of the tumorgenic potential of RTK/RAS pathway alone in the urothelial cells using genetically engineered mice, the dependency of the RTK/RAS activation on the level of activation demonstrated in Harvey Rat Sarcoma Viral Oncogene Homolo (HRAS) expression, and the deficiency of the tumor suppressor genes.
