- Abstract
The article focuses on the study regarding the meaning in piano improvisations created by children at risk who live in residential care in the U.S. Accordingly, the study aims to discover the visibility of any connections between the meanings derived from the improvisations and the musical characteristics of the improvisations. It also uncovers the presence of any connections between the meanings derived from the improvisations and the clinical profiles of the children.
