- Abstract
The article describes the use of digital techniques in the preparation of ceramic veneers. By combining digital and manual steps, a perfect result can be achieved. The use of digital technology enables clear communication between the patient, dentist, and dental technician, as well as an accurate simulation of the future treatment. The analog production of the veneers is necessary to reproduce a natural smile. The combination of digital and manual techniques leads to a "perfect match". The process of removing, cleaning, and post-curing the components is also discussed. The production of a stump made of Sherarefract is described, as well as the duplication of the printed stumps. Finally, the use of Noritake EX 3 porcelain on fire-resistant stump technology for aesthetic rehabilitations is addressed. The ceramic layering of fire-resistant stumps with Noritake EX 3 porcelain is described. The veneers are attached according to the adhesive protocol of Magne/Belser. Porcelain veneers provide excellent aesthetic results and are biocompatible. Conservative treatment has advantages such as tooth preservation and longevity.
