- Authors
Romanow, Kate
- Abstract
The article discusses a court case, wherein the U.S. Court of Appeals of Ninth Circuit stated that the denial of hospital to caesarian section privileges to general family practitioners can be a federal or state antitrust conspiracy. It states that the plaintiffs Runte and Tuolomne County, California claimed that the credentialing of Sonora Community Hospital was a violation of the Sherman Act. It mentions that the court had favored the defendants because there was no evidence of conspiracy.
