- Abstract
The article reports that the U.S. Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) have modified the formula behind the payment rate for certain medications while finalizing the hospital outpatient prospective payment system for 2009. The agency also eliminated a temporary preadministration service fee and decreased the number of codes for communicating drug administration service.
