- Abstract
The article focuses on a study that assesses the magnitude of the problem of reproductive tract infections (RTI) and its social correlates among married females aged 15-44 years in rural Meerut, India. The role of life style and personal hygiene in the causation of the infection is explored. It says that the prevalence of RTI in those women who were using barrier contraceptives was significantly low.
