- Abstract
A case study of a 55-year-old man who underwent right above-elbow amputation due to synovial sarcoma is presented. The patient underwent forequarter amputation of his right upper limb for recurrent sarcoma. Magnetic resonance imaging and bone scan showed multiple metastases in L3-5 and S1 vertebrae. ketamine, an N-methyl-D-aspartate (NMDA) receptor blocker used in many neuropathic pain conditions for treating Phantom limb pain (PLP).
