The article offers news briefs on company benefits in Canada. The Longo Brothers Fruit Markets Inc. partnered with consulting firm The Williams Group to develop a flexible and economically sustainable benefits plan for its employees. The decision by the Supreme Court of Canada in the case Nolan versus Kerry has changed the rule on who pays the cost of a pension trial. The fifth annual capital accumulation plan (CAP) member survey made by Benefits Canada showed that 20% claimed that they maintain their saving, spending or investing practice in 2010.
