- Abstract
The article presents a result of a survey conducted by the World Mental Health (WMH) which reveals the high risk of depression with low self-efficacy (SE)workers in Japan. It highlights several factors that contribute to the self-efficacy of the workers including marital status, gender and working hours. It examines the impact of depression to the reduction of productivity in the workplace that could sometimes lead to suicide.
