- Abstract
The article features the Broadway production of "Hair" in which sound design is covered by Abe Jacob at the Arizona Theatre Co. It presents an overview of the show's technical preparations which cover the sound system to create reinforced sound for a modern "Hair," the use of wireless microphones, and the employment of loudspeakers nestled in the scaffolding which serve as monitors for the singers and provide additional localization options for Jacobs. Also cited is the point of differences between the sound design for the original production of "Hair" and Abe Jacob' new production.
