- Title
Labelled formaldehye for radiotracers.
- Abstract
The article reports on the discovered labelled formaldehyde for positron emission tomography (PET) by the U.S. Department of Energy's Brookhaven National Laboratory's scientists. It mentions that the scientists were able to bond formaldehyde to inner portions of molecules. According to the researchers, labelled formaldehyde can be applied in establishing tracer molecules with its label attached. They likewise states that labelled formaldehyde was contributed to the outside parts of molecule before.
