- Abstract
The article explores the use of gamification in personnel selection and development. Topics covered include the characteristics of a true serious game including the presence of the interaction between the player and the game, and the inclusion of adaptive or branching gameplay, the factors that must be considered when developing and using serious games (SG) for talent selection, and the other sectors where SG can be used including healthcare and military.
