- Title
An Alternative Paradigm for Social Workers Seeking to Do Intervention Research.
- Authors
Rubin, Allen
- Abstract
The author discusses an alternative paradigm for social workers who are seeking to do intervention research. He says that the paradigm entails the examination of an individual's reports of the randomized clinical trials (RCTs) that provide the strong research support for the research-supported treatment (RST). He also emphasizes that such paradigm enables researchers of social work to conduct outcome studies of value to agencies and to society without a control group in practice settings.
